Hy! In order to specify better what ROMs come with VICE and/or which the user needs to provide, i have started renaming them to, and listing them in the documentation with, their actual part numbers. For some i could not find them - it would be cool if those of you who own these devices - or know the part numbers - could provide them. Perhaps you can also point me to another archive than zimmers (a list of part numbers doesnt really help). In particular: - mps801.bin (MPS 801 charset) - mps803.bin (MPS 803 charset) - nl10.bin (NL 10 charset) - (we do not provide this in VICE) the SCPU ROM (this is an eprom with a sticker on it, i am interested in what is printed on the sticker) - Last not least some localized C128 Kernal ROMs. These are somewhat strange: kernalfi (finnish) - The editor part matches none of the files on zimmers, the kernal part matches kernalpart.finnish1.bin kernalfr (french) - Matches editor.french.bin+kernalpart.french.bin kernalit (italian) - Matches editor.italian.bin+kernalpart.italian.bin. The editor part matches kernal.italian.325168-02.bin, but the kernal part is different. kernalno (norwegian) - Matches editor.norwegian.bin+kernalpart.norwegian.bin. The editor part matches kernal.norwegian.325177-02.bin, but the kernal part is different. For all of the above it would be acceptable to replace the files that we currently have in VICE - IF we know that the files we replace with are actually newer revisions than the ones we have, and we know their part numbers. (That is also true for any other ROM files in the VICE tree - if you spot such cases, please tell) You can find the files we provide with VICE in the snapshot release on github: https://github.com/VICE-Team/svn-mirror/releases and the files i compared with on zimmers: http://www.zimmers.net/anonftp/pub/cbm/firmware/computers/ Thanks for your help! -- http://hitmen.eu http://ar.pokefinder.org http://vice-emu.sourceforge.net http://magicdisk.untergrund.net Wozu Socken?
