Hallo Spiro, > I did not know that there was a problem! I have problems _at home_ receiving attachments encoded with base64 used by OE. I have a workaround for it now. > I don't think this is a good solution. I believe using MIME, but setting > "text coding" to "None" (instead of quoted-printable or base64) is a better > solution. I sent a mail to home with the above adjustment and I'll se if it works. > Wouldn't it be good to tell which version of OE you're using? Me, I'm using > OE 5.5. OE 5.00 FYI: this mail comes from my work. At home I use an old email program from Quarterdeck under W3.11. The reason for this is that W98 refuses to cooperate with my TELES 16.3. When using the official TELES CD V6, W98 crashes to a complete standstill when telling to install the software. But I don't mind using that old Q. emailer, it cannot handle base64 and it is not Y2K-proof but it is at least atombombproof against those stupid MS-targetted viruses.
