Hi All, I'm trying to figure out if I can use the BA signal as a "clock" if I can rely on it going low often enough. The fact that the frequency varies dependent upon what is on the screen doesn't worry me for now, it is the minimum that is important for me. After scanning the vic.txt document I'm still not too sure of the answer. The minimum is when no sprites are displayed. Therefore is there 25 "character" fetches per screen (every 8 visible rasters), which for a 50Hz display equates to a minimum of 1.25kHz? Or: 312 rasters (PAL) x 50Hz, therefore 15.6kHz Regards, Nick PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The contents of this email (including any attachments) may be privileged and confidential.
