Absolutely, Levente - this discussion is about the use of the mailing list, not personal stuff. I think you hit the nail on the proverbial head, so to speak, in your last missive. Commercial usage of this mailing list is way off topic, in my opinion. It makes me sick seeing the amount of duplication of effort in the commercial world, and that's one of the many reasons for my return to academia. Open Source type ethics were taken for granted on this list for years without needing to be formally stated. I sincerely hope the content here reverts to that style.
