Hallo Marko, > So, the I/O area may be a bit problematic, since I'm feeding only one CPU > address line to the logic array. I cannot remember the original specs but I assume that you use I/O2 or I/O3 plus an addressline to address the hardware of the VIC-cartridge. Reading your questions about the 6545 I assume you want to use unused registers for addressing the cartridge when connected to a CBM. But what is your equivalent for the I/Ox-line??? About TA12: you can program the 6545 to start to look at another RAM-address for data ie. paging. In this case there isn't, so the original RAM is mirrored. But the effect is that you get black text on white screen. Of course text which is "inverted", now appears as normal text.
