While the mail list was down I acquired a Commodore SR-1400 Electronic Slide Rule Calculator. Unfortunately, the internal batteries leaked and corroded away the power wires where they were attached to the circuit board. I now have a battery pack with a red and a black wire attached and the case with a red and a black wire attached to the power jack. I assume these were attached to the upper left side of the circuit board where the corrosion was. I have cleaned away the corrosion and there are 3 solder pads there with traces of wires in them. Does anyone know how to reconnect these wires? Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
