Daniel Benson, who has been trying to sell his Commodore MAX (a.k.a. UltiMax or VIC-10) and Commodore VIC-1001 (Japanese VIC-20) on eBay, sent me a dump of the 901486-02 KERNAL ROM. It seems to use an $aa fill byte instead of the $ff used in the 901486-06 (NTSC-M KERNAL). I didn't analyze the code differences yet, since the character ROM dump was incorrect (4096 zero bytes). The ROM dump is available from <URL:http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/firmware/computers/vic20/>. I'll also copy the 901460-02 character ROM dump there, once I obtain it. Marko Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
