The Retro-Replay is quite powerful and has the potential to be the best freezer cartridge ever. What it's lacking right now is fully developed utilities. The hardware itself is about as good as it can get. Your remark about the documentation lacking clarity is accurate. Novice users have some difficulty learning how to put it to use. Advanced users wish for more information to take better advantage of the cartridge. As to whether it's worth the money, I think it is.
