I have come across a 1541 disk drive with a strange adapter on it. There
is a 9 pin D connector on the outside. This is connected to an adapter
that goes between the 6522 and it's socket at UC1. The wires are
connected to pins 2-9. These are for PA0-7 on the 6522, which are
normally unused on the 1541.
Does anyone know what this is for?
