Yes, I know that too well. But it's astonishing that the same cbmlink file
or disk copier binaries work without patching in VIC-20, C64, C128 and in
the 264 series. The PET and the CBM II require their own versions of the
programs - the PET even for every ROM version.

Yes, acquiring Amiga only postponed that destiny, by some eight years.
