I replaced the old 6526 with a socket. It was a long and hard work for me, and I have, I must admit, removed a couple of through-hole metallizations in the process (so I had to be much more careful during the soldering of the socket), but it was all worth it:The C-64c is now working correctly! I tested with the cart and with the famous C2N232. ol korekt mario P.S. I also plugged in a new 6526 ;-] ?-----Original Message----- ?From: ext Spiro Trikaliotis [mailto:trik-news@gmx.de] ?Sent: 08 July 2003 10:26 ?To: cbm-hackers@cling.gu.se ?Subject: Re: Gianmario's 64c mystery solved ? ? ?Hello, ? ?On Mon, Jul 07, 2003 at 11:35:17PM +0300, Marko Mäkelä wrote: ? ?> So, the $dd00 CIA is broken, and Gianmario will have to replace it. ? ?/me being happy to have had the right idea. ;-) ? ?Spiro. ? ? ?
