Hallo Nick, I only can imagine a track indicator because at 360 rpm the sector info would change about 120 time/sec. :) The track indicator is just a hardware trick. AFAIK the device watches some lines of the 6522 and in- or decreases the numbers according the read signals. I have two at home and will ahve a closer look. It was also published in a 64'er so I could scan it.
