Hello all!
On the 28th of November, I will defend my doctoral thesis. After that,
I will leave my researcher position at the Helsinki University of Technology
and start working full time at Innobase Oy, the maker of InnoDB, the
transactional backend of the MySQL relational database management system.
In my new position, I will have less spare time than at the university. Also,
since the birth of my son Väinö last June, I have very little spare time at
home. So, I will have to give up the maintainership of this mailing list.
I will continue to take care of http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/, and I won't be
leaving this list.
Anyway, from now on Per Olofsson a.k.a. MagerValp will take care of
subscriptions, removing those addresses that keep generating bounces
(mail quota full, errors in mail filters, host name lookup failure,
account doesn't exist any more), and filtering the messages that are
sent from unrecognized addresses.
