Hi! I've seen a lot of messages about PSU's for the C-64. I hadn't given it much thought so far, but when I was reading Ryan's message, I thought to myself: why not cut off the wire from the PSU and hook it up to two power supplies; one for the 9VAC and one for the regulated 5.0V? I think a lot of people actually have those hanging around in the house... An old PC power supply would do to give you the 5V and the 9VAC can be derived from an adapter; often used as a power source for old external modems or 10 Mbit network hubs.
