I don't want to have trouble with Tulip or Ironstone partners. Although nothing has happened to http://www.commodore.net/ since the deal was announced last July, I believe that the Commodore 64 firmware might have some commercial potential. If someone can offer a home for the material I have removed from FUNET, I'm happy to provide the files. It's a pity that copyrights practically do not expire any more. (Who believes that the expiration time won't be extended from 70 years when some movies are about to enter the public domain?) The original duration of 14 years since the creation of the work would be more appropriate for software. For instance, given that FlightGear <URL:http://flightgear.sourceforge.net/> is available as free software, who would pay for a copy of Flight Simulator II on the Commodore 64? But Flight Simulator II won't enter the public domain until all its authors have been dead for 70 years (given that the duration is not extended again).
