Hi David, >Would a PLL serve your purpose? PLLs are used in clock generators on PC >motherboards, and use a low frequency (often around 14mhz) to generate the >133mhz and 1000mhz+ signals for the cpu and system buses. Interesting... but I have no experience with a PLL. I assume they can come in DIP like chips? (I think even the C64 has one?) So the idea would be to feed it a 1MHz signal, and get out of it a high MHz clock.... Is that right? - Nick - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Your Engineering Solutions Provider http://www.orbeng.com.au/orbital/engineeringServices/engServices.htm - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The contents of this email (including any attachments) may be privileged and confidential.
