Hello folks, C=Hacking Issue #16 ought to be appearing in a day or two. Naturally it depends on article submissions to keep it going, so I want to encourage all of the hackers to keep notes on your projects, and write them up for C=Hacking! In addition to making you famous and fabulously wealthy, I think C=Hacking does a better job of propagating information, as well as preserving information, than a web page does. Second, if anyone has an idea, or an article you'd like to see, please email me. I keep a rough article-idea-list, which I may post here later on for inspiration and whatnot. Third, I may be emailing you directly about cool projects which you've posted to the list, so you might consider this email to be a warning :). Finally, I am thinking about starting up a weekly IRC conference. It would be logged and preserved, and the kind of nonsense we all know from other 64 channels wouldn't be tolerated for a moment. Hopefully by providing a consistent meeting time we could get together, have a virtual beer, and talk about, well, whatever. I am currently thinking Wednesday or Thursday evenings, starting around 4PM CST, which would be around 10:00 PM in Europe. This way, there might be some overlap between Europeans and NTSC folks (dunno about the Australians though :). Would anyone be interested? If this time is bad, do you have an alternate time suggestion? That's all for now. -Steve
