I'm a bit reluctant to list unfinished projects at http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/crossplatform/transfer/transfer.html which aims to be a list of readily available solutions. Besides, it already mentions completed parallel port based disk drive emulators for both IEEE-488 and Commodore serial bus. Hmm, has Jim Brain's Virtual IEC Peripheral project been completed? I know of one more interfacing project that has been in development. It emulates a floppy disk inside a real 1541. The data are exchanged with an external system on the GCR level. I haven't read of this project for over a year now, but I hope it will eventually be completed. Marko Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
