Yes, I know that DOS cannot create (nor handle) arbitrary length partitions. Anyway, what I have been told is that DOS even cannot handle a much smaller partition (i.e., 100 MB) if the HD is too big. IIRC, they said it is due to the CHS handling of DOS and the fact that never OS use LBA. Now, I am not sure if it was DOS not able to handle such things, or if it just cannot coexit with other OS on such a big HD. Regards, Spiro. -- Spiro R.
