silverdr, the following patch (with description) might help you here:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1509727&group_id=122047&atid=692221
MODULE_PARM() was deprecated on the 2.6.x kernel lines, but removed only
recently. The patch handles this without breaking compatibility with
2.4.x kernels (which do not know the newer replacement module_param()).
Or get the latest version from the SourceForge CVS
(http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=122047), where this problem is
already fixed.

Exactly. Note that the (ignored) error message regarding mnib is removed
with the CVS head, too.

Compiler error? I don't remember such a thing, and I was not able to
find it. Perhaps, you think about the problem fixed by the above patch?
Regards,
Spiro.
