Yup. That works! And solves the problem too.

You might be right. I wrote it from my memory and I recall seeing  
"Error" and "Stop" so I could have misinterpreted it.

Confirmed.

Now it compiles almost cleanly with only two warnings in the module.  
Lines 808 and 809 "initialization from incompatible pointer type" but  
this of course doesn't break the build.
