That's what I always used... but the problem was that it was made to "imitate" the sun and as the sun itself it emitted a lot of IR, next to UV, which made the chip extremely hot during the erasing process. I even tried to decouple the heaters from the UV lamp but it was constructed in such a "clever" way that I found it not worth to try.
