The 8032-SK has the same case as the 8296/8296D. My assumption
is that the new board (8296) was not ready when the new case was
there, so they fit the old (universal board) into the new case,
which resulted in extra wiring etc.
The 720 case is similar, but IMHO not identical to the 8296/8032-SK
case.
