Isn't a half-height drive easier to fit than a full-height drive? One of the 90X0 drives I picked up and sold last year was retrofitted with a ST-225 if I recall correctly. It fit just below the controller board and at a whole was slightly lighter than the Tandon 602S units. I see from your blog that you needed taller risers to fit the ST-225. In the four units I went though, I didn't notice any difference in how the disks were secured. A fun side note is that Seagate's website still has rudimentary information about the ST-225, available through Google.
