Just another quick update for the list: Ruud, poking and peeking the screen address as you mentioned seems to have normal results. I fixed the issue with BASIC4 not loading. It turned out to be a funky Flash ROM. I dumped it's contents and could see some problems with the BASIC 4 part. I ended up patching/fixing the original dump and just buying another flash ROM and programing it...it seems to work fine now. I'm also able to load programs (Android Nim) from C2N datasette, so I know that part now works. Also built a keyboard cable adaptor for the PET 2001N/3000 keyboard that Anders sent. Now I think I've only got the weird screen repeat thing to address now and I'm done....I hope You can see all the pictures on my site as usual. http://web.me.com/lord_philip/other_computers/20012.html Thanks again Phil On May 17, 2011, at 6:16 AM, Philip Lord wrote: > I've posted another video showing some simple typing tests: > > - typing in 1 thu 9, and repeating > - followed by repeated returns > - a CLR command > - followed by more 1 thu 9 repeated. > > At one point, as the cursor nears the right side, 3 flashing cursors appear!!! > > Phil > > > On May 17, 2011, at 1:00 AM, Rhialto wrote: > >> On Mon 16 May 2011 at 13:06:32 +0200, Baltissen, GJPAA (Ruud) wrote: >>>> I'll hook up a keyboard and reinstall the 6520's to see what happens >>>> when I actually start typing something. >>> >>> In that case you can forget the ASM and use Basic to poke and peek those >>> addresses I mentioned.
