Identification of "header"

In low profile situations like the 1541-II PCB under the mechanism, 
there is not enough room for a header, PCB, socket, and IC.  A while 
back, I found CMD had sidestepped the issue by using an extremely low 
profile header on their JiffyDOS for the 1541-II.

Note that the header pins looks to be a thick plastic film "carrier".

Anyone know a source or name for this option?  Without something like 
this, uZoomFloppy and adapters for the 1541-II are not possible.
