HI,

No idea about this chip
I was not aware that superpet software were protected.

I just saw one a few hours the day they arrived at the company
It was immediately decided that they would not be sold in france
And that the 2 copies received would be send to 2 journalists.

I like the 6809, it's a nice processor, I also found some resources for the superpet
So I thought I could add a superpet emulation to my program.

As anybody tried to use a logic analyzer on the 6702 ?

I don’t have a superpet... so no way to investigate.

Has anybody tried to ask the university of waterloo ?
After 30 years I don’t think they really care for
This old software protection...

I like this machine I think it was a really good idea.

I think you questions have been answered already, but one hint:

there is the 6702 chip on the SuperPET board, of which no information is
known so far. It is assumed to be some kind of dongle for the 6809 software.
It would be great if you could make any information public that you find
out about that one.
