I see. And I am really tempted to put my fingers on Chameleon already now. If it offers similar level of compatibility as 1541U but allows me to get rid of that ugly S-video to HDMI converter, which gives also ugly results..

While I am not interested that much in standalone mode (I guess this is what you mean by "fixing CIAs, SID, ..), I understand your standpoint. Just I would very much like this to find its way there. And judging by the fact that it was already on the list before I asked - I am not alone in that wish..
