I was thinking about completing SuperPET emulation in VICE. The extended
memory and the I/O chips (apart from the mysterious 6702) are already
there. There seem to be various 6809 emulators around but I have no idea
which one woule be best suitable for using in a context like VICE.

The SuperPET manual on zimmers.net seems to suggest that a cpu is reset
when it is switched to. But since it's not a technical document it may
mean that only when turning on the machine, so I'm still wondering if
one can continue a cpu where it left off.
