Pin 1 is easy to spot.
on a SCSI1 cable, every ODD pin except 25 is GROUND - so you'll see
one side of the pins are all strapped together on the PCB.
Orient the cable so that the red stripe connects to this pin.
(looking down the CONNECTOR, it will be on the left hand side.)
