I have been trying to upload the image, but I just can't get into ftp.funet.fi. The most obvious difference is a new initial byte, 0x98. Once the data is re-aligned, I don't think there's 1% difference. I'll get it in there eventually. OTOH, my ROM programmer seems to *hate* TI 2564's. I tried three sets with no success. I know the drives work. Sigh. Besides this, today was a good day. I'm resucing a 4016 that comes up with good video and random character trash on the screen, but no other signs of life. It's mine for the shipping from CA to OH. I've enough parts to fix it including a spare MB (new in the factory box) if it comes to that. Now... on to disassembly of the drive ROMs. -ethan ===== Infinet has been sold. The domain is going away in February.
