What service manual is that?  Mine only goes up to B2.

It is #250466.  I call it version C because that's what it says on the
serial number label. It's in a case styled like the C128.

I read somewhere (I don't remember where) that the original C64 can have
either a 5 or 8 pin connector.  It only uses the original 5 pins.
Commodore must have got a good deal on 8 pin sockets.
