As far as I've observed, the keyboard mechanisms on the CBM 610 and 710 are 
the same? The latter however wired to a cable for external use. In my case, 
I've got a 610 which suddenly gave up the other year, and a keyboardless 710 
that I thought was dead but powers on (but probably needs a cap change in 
the power supply section). I've toyed with the idea to interface the 
keyboard from the 610 to use with the 710 but it'd be a bit of sacrilage.
