Oops, I completely forgot about the inputs.

- 1 input for telling the PLA to use the extended mode. Instead of using a jumper, using two solder pads could be an option: less room, cheaper.
- 4 inputs for the address lines A8..A11  to split $D000/$D3FF and $D400/$D7FF in two parts each. 
- 1 output for the $D100/$D3FF area
- 1 output for the $D500/$D7FF area

These four inputs spoil the idea a bit but I can blame myself for it, I should have thought it over a bit more before answering.
