Hi guys! Wow I really enjoyed finding and skimming through this thread. :) I haven't had the time to read it properly yet sorry. But I'm pleased to see someone preserving this wonderful printer. I myself have a couple of MPS-802 printers (Same as 1526). They are a great printer to preserve as they have a very strong & robust mechanism that has survived the rigors of time very nicely! :) The ribbons being carbon also never dry out and can last a very long time. If you are interested I have a image for the 3rd party aftermarket graphics EPROM. The 1526 / 802 was originally a text only printer.
