Please, please, feel free to explain what could be done better, especially the "dusty" thing.. I won't feel hurt or offended in any way. 

One of the reasons I wanted to change the layout was that screens became much wider in time and therefore my lines of text as well. While reading, going to the next line doesn't go as smooth as it used to be when the lines were smaller. Too often I find my self on the same line again or one too far.
The problem is, I'm a technician, not an artist; I want to deliver info, not flashy pictures. I simply looked around to see how other sites did it and in this case I choose this layout because it limited the size of the lines. 

So anyone, feel free to shoot and give comment, advice or what ever you like :)
