The clearances on the rail are not critical. Any light oil will do. If the rail is dirty, wipe it with a Q-tip. If it's really dirty, clean it with 91% isopropyl alcohol, then lubricate it. Once lubricated, wipe the rail with a soft cloth. You only need a 1 to 2 molecule thick layer of oil. Excess oil will collect dirt and gum up the mechanism.
