I would only add to this that the CDTV motherboard was uniquely designed for
that machine, and does not actually have an Amiga 500 board in it. This is
a fine point that was made to me by a big CDTV fan who stopped by my pages.
I had also written that the CDTV was an Amiga 500, and he was quite offended
and sent me a strong email so that I would note this. :)

Basically an A500 with an A570 CD-ROM drive and 0.5 or 1 MB of memory.

Bootable Amiga CDs. There are some CDTV-specific titles out there, and
some CD32-titles were also CDTV compatible. It also plays audio CDs.
