Here's the first bit of news from the Louisville C= Expo held today. Truly, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Sat, 26 May 2001 21:59:32 -0500 (CDT) From: Dave R. <watson@enteract.com> To: homestead@videocam.net.au Subject: [Homestead] Greetings from the Expo Hey all, Just dialing in from the expo. I had wanted to set up a quick web page with my pictures, but Polaroid doesn't make a Win ME driver for my camera (and ME is on my laptop), and I haven't gotten pictures to download on the 64 yet. So, those'll be available sometime tomorrow (Sunday). Jeri showed a great demo of her Commodore One. It couldn't run any software since she took out all the interrupts (to prevent glitches), but it booted up to the familiar blue-on-blue screen, and she was able to show some amazing features such as a draggable screen and a sprite which could be moved by the mouse without any intervention from the CPU. Bill Herd told some great stories. I really hope Dale got all of it on tape. Wish y'all could have been here. - Watson - This message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list.
