Got some freebies from a friend on Friday - a copy of the "Best of the Pet
Gazette" - great old articles from the 1970s, a 64K memory board (with
broken pins on the 40-pin connector :-( ) and a "Branding Iron" programmer
with docs but no software. It plugs onto the cassette port and the User
Port, and has a 12V "wall wart". According to the docs, it works with
a variety of PET models and ROM revisions. The software resembles the TIM
monitor program, but with P, V and C added - Program, Verify and Copy. Also,
apparently, is a T command for specifying the number of Kbits (T 32 or T16).
It claims to only be able to program 2532s and 2716s.

I have other burners, but it would be interesting to use this on a PET to
burn some ROMs for that PET.

Thanks,

-ethan
