The sound subcarrier is located at a different offset, and therefore I get no sound from my PAL-G TV set when using that modulator. I don't remember the part number, though. I don't think that the -04 could be an updated version of the -03. There are many VIC-20 parts where the minor number indicates a different version (e.g. 901486 is used for both the BASIC and the KERNAL ROMs, with different suffixes).
