Hi All,
I created a CRT image of the MAX-BASIC ROMs on funet and ran it under VICE's
C64 emulation. Some observations:
1) Of course boots as a 30k machine
2) serial devices seem not to be there, only tape device #1 seems to be
there
3) RS232 routines seem to also be missing
(that's how they must have clawed back some space for the character set)
But one question. Since it works as a simple Ultimax mode ROM cart what is
the purpose of the RAM? The screenshots at the previous link show only 2k
free which suggest the normal left over RAM of a 4k machine. I'm sure I'm
missing something here.....
