By my calcs... JiffyDOS is 5times faster C64==>>1541 over the command
channel and 10times faster 1541==>>C64 over the command channel.
Of course this would mean you would need to find a way of gracefully
switching between driive "ROMs" that are very different (or else make patch
IDE code over the JD base).
