Do I understand this correct? On the left side, there is the
own device, and on the right side, the user port?
In this case, the device has to be able to pull the line
LOW, isn't it? Thus, the diode would be faced in the wrong
direction: Your schematic allows the device to drive CNT1/SP1
high.
Or am I totally confused this morning?
