My mistake. There was an MPS1000 manual on top of it and it came with a
real MPS1000 (I believe) so I assumed it was simply a black model. In fact
it's an "MCS801" according to a label on the back. It's definitely not an
MPS801 (I have one here for reference too) and it has a similar shape to
the MPS1000, but no Centronics port. It's in 264 series brown / grey, in
fact.
