Sure, just solder the cable on some free AT90S2313 pins. The earliest version
(with the CNC-made board) is easier, because it has some holes for mounting
the serial bus cable. It requires some rerouting of the wires, though. The
next board version will have wire mounting holes for all previously unused
I/O pins, so there will be room for future expansions. :-)

So that you can plug it directly into an RS-232 port. If you insist on using
null modem adapters or cables, use an even number of them. :-)
