Sorry for replying to my own e-mail, but I think I found a viable solution. Apparently, the C128 external power supply http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/schematics/computers/c128/power/ps-128.gif offers the same output as the Plus/4 http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/schematics/computers/plus4/powersupply.gif Now, the C-128's PSU has one more pin in the middle. Can someone tell me, if I remove that pin to make the PSU compatible with the Plus/4, will it make it incompatible with the C-128? I'd hate to hose the 128. thanks mario > -----Original Message----- > From: ext [mailto:Gianmario.Scotti@nokia.com] > Sent: 14 October, 2003 19:07 > To: cbm-hackers@cling.gu.se > Subject: Commodore plus/4 power supply > > > Hello, > > > I have bought a Plus/4, but I got a wrong powersupply with > it. The PSU I got is very similar to the C-64 posersupply (I > call it "guitar pedal"), but dark grey insread of beige. > However, the connector on the Plus/4 is square with four pins > (similar to the C-128, but that has 5 pins). > > Does anyone have any idea what can I do to power this beast? > > > cheers > > mario > > > Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list > Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
