Hi All, For those interested in an alternate use of EPROM socket in the 1700/1764/1750 REU, I have just completed a project which puts a firmware copy of RAMDOS into the unit. This is makes use of the socket in the C64 mode, and with the additional SRAM chip avoids the need for the memory page within the C64 which is a source of incompatibility. Schematic is included in the zip, plus some pictures. Info at: http://www.64hdd.com/c64-proj3.html#autoramdos Cheers, Nick - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Your Engineering Solutions Provider http://www.orbeng.com.au/orbital/engineeringServices/engServices.htm - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The contents of this email (including any attachments) may be privileged and confidential.
