Hi Nick, I have checked the various sources I have about the IEC bus, but your are right in that none show the Tpr signal. In 64HDD's code I don't have a Tpr, and it still seems to work... - Nick -----Original Message----- From: owner-cbm-hackers@cling.gu.se [mailto:owner-cbm-hackers@cling.gu.se]On Behalf Of njaxel@netscape.net Sent: Monday, 26 April 2004 1:54 PM To: cbm-hackers@cling.gu.se Subject: Que: Tpr on serial bus diagram Hi, while experimenting with the serial bus and having a look at the C64 PRG and a serial bus doc that came along with VICE, I noticed Tpr, mentioned in both texts but nowhere to be seen on the timing diagrams. According to the tables in these docs, it stands for BYTE-ACKNOWLEDGE, but I can't see it fitting anywhere. It's supposed to be important if an external device is a talker (min 20us, typ 30us). Any ideas what this Tpr is and where should it be on the C64 PRG diagram? Thank you all in advance.
