Hallo Andre, > With a computer with 1MHz video memory access speed (Actually .... Your remark made me compare both schematics, the CBM one and the one of the Elektor videocard, again. And indeed, the 6845 of the CBM runs at 1 MHz and the one of the Elektor runs at 2 MHz. But both 74166 serialisers run at 16 MHz. This means 8 bits par 6845-cycle for the Elektor and 16 bits for the CBM. And 16 bits = 2 chars. > Hope that helps, Explaining the problem, yes. But a drawback for my project. But I'm sure I'll find a solution :) FYI: as a German you are probably familiar with the Elektor magazine. They produced the Junior and other computers. I want to convert the EC65K into a CBM 8032-SK thus ending up with a CBM built out of Eurocards and having a 65816 onboard. Nochmal, herzlichen Dank für die Erklärung! -- ___ / __|__ / / |_/ Groetjes, Ruud \ \__|_\ \___| URL: Ruud.C64.org =====DISCLAIMER================================================================= De informatie in dit e-mailbericht is vertrouwelijk en uitsluitend bestemd voor de geadresseerde.
